How to obtain information in AP format for the Daily Herald

Speak to the person who is in charge of computer scoring at the meet. Ask them to make a floppy disk for publicity in "AP format" or have them email results to you.

Instructions for saving results in "AP format" from Meet Manager:

Go to menu item - Reports

Click - Results

Toward the bottom, verify and select the following items :

Export File - checkbox AP NEWS

Splits - checkbox None

Top How Many - select 1

Relay Names - select 2

Event # Order - Format

Date/Time - Time Stamp

From the left side menu items :

Click - Select All

Click - Create Report

A prompt dialog box will appear :

Click "YES" = Official AP with commas and period

File Save As - will create "APnews" folder, and default "Results.txt" file name
